3. TWO APPLICATION LINES: INSULATED AND NON-INSULATED EV AERIAL TRUCKS
3.1 INSULATED EV BUCKET TRUCKS: SUPPORTING LIVE-LINE WORK WITH GREATER SAFETY AND EFFICIENCY
Insulated EV bucket trucks are mainly used for live-line work, distribution line repair, and high-risk power maintenance tasks. They are suitable for utility scenarios with higher safety requirements.
In practice, insulated EV aerial trucks can be used for:

The resource-saving value of this type of equipment is reflected in two main ways. First, it integrates multiple working functions into one vehicle, reducing the need for extra equipment and manpower support. 3.2 NON-INSULATED EV AERIAL TRUCKS: IDEAL FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND LOWER OVERALL OPERATING COSTS
Non-insulated EV aerial trucks are mainly designed for aerial work in non-live-line scenarios. Although they are not intended for direct energized-line repair, they are still widely used in the power sector for routine tasks such as line inspection, streetlight maintenance, communication equipment installation, station maintenance, and related infrastructure work.
Compared with insulated units, non-insulated models are better suited to frequent, routine, and standardized daily operations. For companies, these vehicles can complete a large volume of basic work with lower energy costs and more flexible dispatching, which helps reduce the reliance on larger equipment and improve overall fleet efficiency.

In the long term, as the power industry continues to move toward smarter and greener operations, EV aerial trucks will become more than just a new equipment option. They will be an important tool for improving maintenance quality and resource efficiency across the utility sector.
